Please follow these simple guidelines to configure and prepare your files for output to ensure your packaging boxes meet our specifications.
You may also request a sample box before production to ensure that the carton is the correct size for your product, shipping package, and box-style design.

Buy Your Box

Choose the box type, personalize the sizes within the given printing sheet, choose the material and processing time, enter the required quantity beginning with a single copy, and receive your high-quality packaging.

Real Time Live Quote

Select one of the three processing times available: Special, Fast, or Standard; enter the amount of packaging required, and view a custom quote directly online. Your boxes will be completed in 2, 5, or 8 working days.

Template Paths (Die-Line File)

V-Custom Boxes will send you a template to prepare your artwork after we receive your order. Check the die-line dimensions and orientation for which you are creating your artwork. Check to see if any “safe viewable areas,” cut-outs, glue areas, or creases (folding lines) must be considered when designing your layouts. Include a bleed. Make your files in CMYK mode. Provide all fonts or outline all fonts. Provide all embedded images from linked artwork.

Colors (Importance Of CMYK)

Not all color formats are created equal. It is essential to convert colors to CMYK when creating artwork. RGB, often the default color format, is designed for your screen and will not match the colors used in printing. Converting to CMYK will give you a better idea of the finished product.

Guarantee The Best Possible Quality

Remember to outline your fonts and upload your artwork in either EPS, PDF, or AI format for vector graphics. Designs that include anything other than vectors (for example, photographs) can be submitted as high-resolution JPEG or PNG files.

CAD Sample (Blank Sample)

The CAD sample is a plain demo box with no printing created by our professional cardboard plotter machine using the die-line file you upload. It ensures that the carton is the correct size for your product and shipping package and the box-style design. This is highly recommended as a safe procedure. For your convenience, CAD samples are available on any V-Custom Boxes product page.

Mockup (Full-Color Sample)

The mockup is a demonstration box with printing on our professional cardboard plotter machine using your uploaded artwork file. It ensures that the carton box is the proper size for your product, shipping package, and box-style design. As a secure process, mockup box packaging is strongly advised.

Color Matching

V-Custom Boxes accepts no responsibility for color matching or ink density on screen proofs approved by customers. Design layout, text accuracy, image proportion, and placement are all foreseen by screen proofs, but color and density are not. V-Custom Boxes is not responsible for a color’s final appearance.
